Position: Animation Director

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Animation Director to join our creative team. As an Animation Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire animation process and leading a team of talented animators to bring our projects to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of animators, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to ensure high-quality work
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute animation concepts and styles that align with the project's vision and goals
• Create storyboards, animatics, and animatic edits to communicate ideas and provide clear direction to the team
• Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Work closely with the production team to allocate resources and manage budgets effectively
• Review and provide feedback on animation drafts, shots, and final renders to ensure consistency and quality
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques, and implement new tools and processes to enhance the animation workflow
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and provide training opportunities
• Collaborate with other departments such as art, design, and sound to ensure all elements of the project are cohesive and of the highest quality
• Represent the animation team in client meetings and presentations, providing updates and addressing any concerns or feedback
• Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering creativity, innovation, and teamwork among the animation team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Film, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in animation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of 2D and 3D animation techniques, software, and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Maya, and After Effects
• Strong understanding of storytelling, character development, and animation principles
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make creative decisions and provide solutions to technical issues
• A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of animation styles and techniques
• Passion for animation and a desire to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation in the field
