Beauty Glow Cosmetics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AWS Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior AWS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our AWS environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain our AWS cloud infrastructure, including but not limited to EC2 instances, load balancers, auto-scaling groups, and other services.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of our AWS environment to ensure high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Work with our development team to design and implement scalable and secure architectures for our applications on AWS.
• Collaborate with our operations team to automate deployment processes and implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our AWS environment, including performance, security, and availability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and proactively recommend and implement improvements to our infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an AWS Engineer or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM.
• Strong experience with infrastructure automation tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing highly available, scalable, and secure architectures on AWS.
• Experience with container orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills in at least one language (e.g. Python, Bash).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
