Job Title: Data Platform Administrator

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Platform Administrator to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team. As the Data Platform Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our organization's data platform. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and availability of our data, as well as optimizing its performance and scalability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, database administration, and cloud technologies. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage our organization's data platform, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes
• Develop and maintain data architecture, data modeling, and data integration processes
• Monitor and troubleshoot the performance and health of the data platform, identifying and resolving any issues in a timely manner
• Ensure data security and compliance by implementing and maintaining data access controls, backups, and disaster recovery plans
• Collaborate with data engineers and data analysts to optimize data workflows and improve data quality
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data management, cloud technologies, and database administration
• Provide technical guidance and support to other teams and stakeholders on data platform-related matters
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and incident management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in data management, database administration, or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based databases (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Azure SQL Database)
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., ETL, data pipelines, data integration)
• Proficiency in data modeling and data architecture design
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Database, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator) are a plus
