Job Title: Building Maintenance Supervisor

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As the Building Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our facilities. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians and ensure that all buildings and equipment are well-maintained and functioning efficiently to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all buildings, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other equipment
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and efficiency of building systems and equipment
• Manage and schedule maintenance tasks and work orders to ensure timely completion and minimal disruption to business operations
• Train and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify potential issues and address them in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to obtain competitive bids for maintenance projects and oversee their work to ensure quality and timely completion
• Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, making recommendations for cost-saving measures and managing expenses within budget constraints
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of necessary materials and equipment for maintenance projects
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in building maintenance to continuously improve processes and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in building maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Extensive knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Proficiency in using computer software and maintenance management systems
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Must be able to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies as needed
