Key Responsibilities:

Review and edit written content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
Correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors
Ensure that all content adheres to our company's style and tone guidelines
Fact-check information and verify sources
Collaborate with writers to improve the overall quality of written materials
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that all content is accurate and meets project deadlines
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in writing and editing
Identify areas for improvement and provide suggestions for enhancing content quality
Assist in creating and maintaining a style guide for writers to follow
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload accordingly

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Copy Editor or in a similar role
Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for errors
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficient in using editing tools and software
Familiarity with AP Style and Chicago Manual of Style
Strong time management and organizational skills
Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for producing high-quality written content
