Position: Database Configuration Developer

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Database Configuration Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Database Configuration Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database structures and configurations to support our organization's data needs. You will work closely with the development and operations teams to ensure that our databases are configured and optimized for optimal performance and scalability. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database design and SQL, as well as experience with database administration and configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain database structures and configurations to support business needs
• Develop and maintain SQL scripts and stored procedures for data manipulation and reporting purposes
• Conduct regular database performance tuning and optimization activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve any database-related issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement database changes to support new features and functionality
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure proper backup and recovery procedures are in place
• Monitor database performance and provide recommendations for improvement
• Maintain documentation of database configurations and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration and configuration
• Strong understanding of database design and SQL
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
• Knowledge of database backup and recovery procedures
• Familiarity with database security and data integrity concepts
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with cloud-based databases is a plus
