Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute merchandising plans to achieve sales and margin targets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on merchandising strategies and promotions
Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to identify opportunities for growth
Review and analyze sales data to make informed decisions on product assortment and inventory management
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and negotiate pricing
Create visually appealing displays and product presentations to enhance the customer shopping experience
Monitor competitor activity and make recommendations for pricing and promotions to stay competitive
Train and educate store employees on merchandising techniques and product knowledge
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to merchandising, inventory management, and pricing
Conduct regular store visits to assess merchandising execution and provide feedback and coaching to store teams

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail merchandising or buying
Strong understanding of consumer behavior and retail industry trends
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with retail management software
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Willingness to travel to store locations as needed
