Position: AWS Cloud Consultant

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Consultant to join our dynamic team. As an AWS Cloud Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our clients in their cloud migration and optimization efforts. You will play a crucial role in helping our clients leverage the full potential of the AWS platform to achieve their business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing and a deep understanding of the AWS ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with clients to assess their current IT infrastructure and develop a comprehensive cloud migration strategy tailored to their specific needs and goals
• Design, implement and manage AWS cloud solutions, including but not limited to AWS EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on AWS best practices and cost optimization strategies
• Conduct thorough assessments of client applications and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Develop and maintain documentation of client cloud environments, including diagrams, processes, and policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the migration process
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies, services, and trends to provide innovative solutions to clients
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide training and support to other team members and clients on AWS cloud technologies
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including preparing proposals and presenting solutions to potential clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud computing, specifically with AWS
• AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of AWS services and architecture, including VPC, security groups, IAM, and CloudWatch
• Experience in implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions for clients across various industries
• In-depth knowledge of cloud migration strategies and methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to learn new technologies
