We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Curriculum Coordinator who is passionate about creating a rigorous and engaging curriculum that will prepare our students for success.
Position: Curriculum Coordinator
Location: Designville, New Jersey, United States
Salary: EUR: €68,000 - €102,000 per year
Job Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum that meets state and national standards, as well as the specific needs of our organization.
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to the curriculum.
- Conduct regular reviews of the curriculum to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
- Create and maintain curriculum maps, pacing guides, and other instructional materials to support teachers in implementing the curriculum.
- Provide professional development and training for teachers on the curriculum, instructional practices, and assessment strategies.
- Collaborate with other Curriculum Coordinators to ensure consistency and continuity across grade levels and subject areas.
- Stay informed about current educational research, trends, and best practices to inform curriculum development.
- Work with special education staff to ensure the curriculum meets the needs of students with diverse learning needs.
- Communicate with parents and stakeholders about the curriculum and its implementation.
- Track and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and make data-driven decisions for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional leadership.
- Strong understanding of state and national standards and curriculum frameworks.
- Knowledge of instructional strategies and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and using data to inform decision-making.
- Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into the curriculum.
