About the Position: We are seeking a creative and driven Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing educational materials and programs that align with our organization's mission and goals. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other team members to create innovative and engaging content for various educational platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand the educational needs and objectives of our organization.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and gather relevant information and resources for curriculum development.
• Design and develop curriculum materials, including lesson plans, course outlines, teaching aids, and assessments, that are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
• Utilize instructional design principles and strategies to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for students.
• Continuously review and update existing curriculum materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
• Work closely with instructional designers and multimedia specialists to incorporate multimedia elements, such as videos, animations, and simulations, into the curriculum.
• Partner with the marketing team to promote and market our educational programs and materials.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and resources for curriculum development.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in the education industry to incorporate into our curriculum.
• Conduct training and workshops for teachers and instructors on how to effectively deliver the curriculum.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in Education.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, learning theories, and assessment methods.
• Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
• Proficient in using instructional design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline, or Camtasia.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact in the field.
