Are you a talented and experienced Animator with a passion for creating visually stunning and captivating animations? Are you a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Lead Animator.As the Lead Animator, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the animation team to deliver high-quality animations for our projects. You will work closely with the creative team to bring characters and worlds to life, while also ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the animation team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them achieve their full potential
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop and implement animation concepts that align with project goals and objectives
• Create storyboards, animatics, and other visual aids to effectively communicate animation concepts to team members and stakeholders
• Develop character and environment designs that are visually appealing and consistent with the project's style and tone
• Use a variety of animation tools and techniques to bring characters and worlds to life, including 2D, 3D, and stop-motion animation
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the quality and creativity of our animations
• Review and provide feedback on animation work to ensure it meets the project's standards and aligns with the creative vision
• Collaborate with other departments, such as design, sound, and programming, to ensure a seamless integration of animation into the final product
• Keep track of project timelines and milestones, and communicate any potential delays or roadblocks to the project manager
• Mentor and train junior animators, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to grow in their roles

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in animation, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills and creativity
• Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Maya, or After Effects
• Strong understanding of animation principles, such as timing, weight, and movement
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• A passion for storytelling and creating engaging animations
• Experience with project management and budgeting is a plus
