About the Role: Community Aid Services is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Community Outreach Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage and strengthen relationships with the community. You will work closely with the marketing and outreach team to create and execute outreach initiatives that align with the organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with community members, organizations, and stakeholders to promote Community Aid Services's mission and programs.
• Plan and execute community outreach events, including presentations, workshops, and networking events.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute promotional materials for community events and programs.
• Develop and maintain a database of community contacts and partners.
• Conduct research to identify potential funding opportunities and partnerships within the community.
• Coordinate and participate in community events to raise awareness about Community Aid Services and its initiatives.
• Organize and lead volunteer recruitment and retention efforts.
• Develop and implement strategies to engage the community through social media and other digital platforms.
• Track and analyze outreach efforts to measure effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
• Work closely with the program and development teams to ensure alignment with community outreach efforts.
• Represent Community Aid Services at community meetings, conferences, and other events.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in community outreach, marketing, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
• Knowledge of community engagement strategies and tactics.
• Passion for the non-profit sector and making a positive impact in the community.
