Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Services Director to join our team. This role is crucial in providing support and guidance to our students, ensuring their success and overall satisfaction during their academic journey. As a Student Services Director, you will oversee and manage various programs and initiatives that enhance the student experience and promote a positive learning environment. This is a leadership position that requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a passion for working with students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement programs and services that support student success, including academic advising, career counseling, and student advocacy.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to create a supportive and inclusive campus culture for students.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations related to student services.
• Manage a team of student services staff and provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and manage the student services budget and allocate resources effectively.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports on student services activities and outcomes.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for student inquiries, complaints, and requests for assistance.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote student retention and graduation rates.
• Plan and execute orientation programs for new students to facilitate a smooth transition into the academic environment.
• Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in student services and make recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education, preferably in a student services role.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing successful programs and services for students.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
• Knowledge of relevant policies and regulations related to student services.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
