We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Safety and Health Coordinator. As a leading organization in our industry, we value the safety and well-being of our employees and customers above all else. This position will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our company's safety and health policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety and health policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
• Investigate accidents, injuries, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Develop and conduct safety training programs for employees to ensure understanding and compliance with safety procedures.
• Collaborate with department managers to identify and address specific safety and health concerns within their respective areas.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety and health activities, including incident reports, training records, and safety data sheets.
• Monitor regulatory changes and updates related to safety and health and make necessary adjustments to company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and participate in safety committees and meetings to promote safety awareness and foster a culture of safety within the organization.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and recommend improvements to existing safety and health programs.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all safety and health-related inquiries and concerns from employees and management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety and health role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal safety and health regulations.
• Strong understanding of safety and health principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other safety-related software.
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety is preferred.
