Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs and learning styles of students
• Provide individual and group instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate students
• Assess students' progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for students
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum
• Communicate with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
• Stay up-to-date with current teaching methods and resources in the field of literacy instruction
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in literacy instruction
• Knowledge of various teaching strategies and techniques for literacy development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Passion for promoting literacy and helping others succeed
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs of students
• Proficient in technology and able to utilize it in teaching
• Valid teaching certification preferred

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position, Monday through Friday
