Position: Curriculum Coordinator

Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Curriculum Coordinator to join our team. The Curriculum Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum, creating instructional materials, and overseeing the instructional design process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, with experience in curriculum development and instructional design. This is a key role in our organization, as the Curriculum Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring that our educational programs are effective, engaging, and aligned with our goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement curriculum for various educational programs, ensuring alignment with educational standards and best practices in teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and educators to create instructional materials, including lesson plans, activities, assessments, and other resources.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in education, and incorporate this knowledge into the development of curriculum and instructional materials.
• Facilitate training and professional development for educators on curriculum implementation and instructional design.
• Review and evaluate existing curriculum and make recommendations for improvements and updates.
• Work with instructional designers to ensure that all curriculum materials are engaging, interactive, and effective for learners.
• Manage the instructional design process, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and technology, to ensure that curriculum materials are effectively integrated into overall educational programs.
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of curriculum and instructional materials, and make adjustments as needed.
• Ensure that all curriculum materials are accessible and inclusive for all learners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Strong knowledge of educational standards and best practices in teaching and learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in instructional design software and technologies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
