Overview: Lotus Bamboo Polytechnic Academy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will have the opportunity to shape the educational materials and resources used by our organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our curriculum is innovative, relevant, and effective in meeting the needs of our students. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong collaboration and communication skills, as well as a passion for education and curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop curriculum materials for various subjects and grade levels, including lesson plans, activities, assessments, and resources.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructors, and other team members to ensure alignment of curriculum with educational standards and learning objectives.
• Conduct research and analyze data to identify best practices and innovative teaching methods to incorporate into curriculum development.
• Utilize instructional design principles and techniques to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for students.
• Review and revise existing curriculum materials to ensure they are up-to-date and meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Create and maintain curriculum development timelines and project plans to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Develop and conduct training sessions for instructors on how to effectively implement the curriculum materials.
• Stay current with industry trends, advancements in technology, and changes in educational standards to continuously improve and enhance the curriculum.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of educational standards and learning objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other curriculum development software.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for education and commitment to continuous learning.
