Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify areas for automation within our AWS environment
Design and implement automated solutions for provisioning, configuring, and scaling AWS resources
Develop and maintain scripts using programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for automating repetitive tasks
Utilize AWS services such as CloudFormation, AWS Config, and AWS Systems Manager to automate infrastructure management and deployment
Ensure the security and compliance of our AWS infrastructure through automated monitoring and governance processes
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation processes and provide timely support to other teams
Continuously research and evaluate new AWS tools and services to enhance automation capabilities
Document and maintain technical specifications and processes for all automation solutions
Collaborate with DevOps and software engineering teams to integrate automation into the software development lifecycle
Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical production issues

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and automation
Strong understanding of AWS services and hands-on experience with AWS automation tools such as CloudFormation, AWS Config, and AWS Systems Manager
Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
Knowledge of DevOps principles and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Proven ability to design and implement automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and scalability
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a positive attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
