Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a strategic plan for the management and curation of our art collection.
Work closely with our team of curators and artists to select and acquire new pieces for our collection.
Oversee the installation and display of artwork in our exhibitions.
Conduct extensive research on artists and their work to inform exhibition themes and content.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote exhibitions and engage with the public.
Manage the budget for exhibitions and acquisitions, ensuring financial sustainability.
Develop and maintain relationships with artists, galleries, and other institutions to facilitate collaboration and loan agreements.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior curators and interns.
Stay up-to-date with trends and developments in the art world to inform curation decisions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Art History, Museum Studies, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in art curation, with a strong background in contemporary art.
In-depth knowledge of art history and the ability to critically analyze and interpret artwork.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Demonstrated experience in managing budgets and financial planning.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and art collection management software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
