Position Overview: The Data Retention Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and managing data retention procedures and policies. This individual will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with data retention regulations and to develop strategies to improve data retention processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update data retention policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with data retention policies
• Collaborate with IT and legal departments to identify and implement data retention solutions
• Monitor and analyze data retention metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Create reports and presentations to communicate data retention policies and procedures
• Develop and conduct training sessions for employees to ensure understanding of data retention policies and procedures
• Stay current with industry trends and regulations related to data retention and make recommendations for process improvements
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data retention strategies
• Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to support data retention initiatives
• Participate in meetings and provide insights and recommendations based on data retention analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data retention or data management
• Strong knowledge of data retention regulations and industry standards
• Experience with data retention tools and software
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Project management experience is a plus
