Job Type: Contract to hire

Salary: EUR: €34,000 - €59,000 per year (base salary + commission)

Job Description: Rift Valley Science Academy is seeking a highly organized and dynamic individual to join our team as a Curriculum Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Education, the Curriculum Coordinator will play a key role in developing and implementing our educational programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum design, project management, and a passion for creating engaging and impactful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Director of Education and other team members to develop and maintain a comprehensive curriculum for all educational programs offered by Rift Valley Science Academy
• Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in curriculum design to ensure our programs are innovative and effective
• Develop and maintain a clear timeline for curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to ensure all learning materials are accurate, relevant, and aligned with the curriculum
• Oversee the review and revision process of existing curriculum to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with learning objectives
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and effectively communicate the value and impact of our educational programs
• Collaborate with the Director of Education to design and implement professional development opportunities for teachers and staff to enhance their instructional skills and knowledge
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and data analysis
• Maintain accurate records of curriculum development, revisions, and evaluations for documentation and reporting purposes
• Ensure compliance with all relevant education standards and regulations set by the government and accreditation bodies
• Act as a liaison between the education team and other departments to ensure smooth coordination and communication of curriculum-related matters
• Participate in educational conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in curriculum design and implementation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum design and development, preferably in an educational setting
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
• Proficiency in using curriculum design software and learning management systems
• Knowledge of current educational trends, theories, and instructional strategies
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve curriculum and learning outcomes
• A growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement
• Experience in delivering effective professional development programs is a plus
