Position: Science Curriculum Developer

Overview: As a Science Curriculum Developer, you will play a critical role in shaping and enhancing the science curriculum for our organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging and effective science curriculum materials for students of various grade levels. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong background in science education, curriculum design, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team of subject matter experts, instructional designers, and educators to develop high-quality science curriculum materials.
• Conduct research on the latest developments in science education and incorporate them into the curriculum.
• Design and develop lesson plans, assessments, and activities that align with educational standards and learning objectives.
• Create engaging and interactive multimedia content, including videos, simulations, and interactive activities, to enhance the learning experience.
• Ensure the curriculum materials are age-appropriate, culturally sensitive, and accessible to students of diverse backgrounds.
• Revise and update existing curriculum materials to reflect changes in educational standards and scientific advancements.
• Develop and maintain a curriculum development schedule and ensure timely delivery of curriculum materials.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials that effectively communicate the unique features of our science curriculum.
• Train and support teachers in effectively implementing the curriculum in their classrooms.
• Conduct regular evaluations and assessments of the curriculum to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science education, curriculum design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in the field of science education.
• Strong knowledge of educational standards and trends in science education.
• Experience in designing and developing curriculum materials for students of different grade levels.
• Proficiency in using multimedia tools and technology to enhance the learning experience.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
