Job Title: Performing Arts Creative Director

The performing arts industry is constantly evolving and pushing boundaries, and we are looking for a highly talented and experienced Creative Director to lead our team to new heights. As the Performing Arts Creative Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall creative vision and direction of our productions, ensuring that they are innovative, engaging, and of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a creative strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with the production team to conceptualize and execute unique and compelling performances.
• Lead and inspire a team of creative professionals, including writers, designers, choreographers, and performers.
• Foster a creative and collaborative work environment, encouraging new ideas and pushing the boundaries of traditional performance.
• Oversee the development of show concepts, scripts, and storyboards, ensuring they align with the company's brand and vision.
• Work closely with the production team to manage budgets and timelines, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, incorporating them into the creative process.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all creative aspects of productions, communicating with external partners, such as venues and sponsors.
• Attend rehearsals and performances to provide creative direction and ensure the artistic vision is being executed.
• Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to develop creative campaigns and promotional materials to increase audience engagement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in performing arts, theatre, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a creative leadership role within the performing arts industry.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and executing creative concepts for live performances.
• Strong understanding of theatrical production and design elements, including lighting, sound, set design, and costume.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• In-depth knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
• Passion for the performing arts and a desire to push boundaries and create innovative and engaging experiences for audiences.
