Job Title: Beverage Director

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Beverage Director to join our dynamic team. As the Beverage Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our beverage program, including developing and managing the menu, purchasing, inventory control, and staff training. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating unique and innovative beverage offerings and a strong understanding of current industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the beverage program, including creating new and exciting drink menus, updating existing menus, and implementing promotions to drive sales
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current beverage trends, including craft cocktails, local and seasonal ingredients, and emerging products
• Oversee purchasing and inventory control to ensure adequate supply levels and cost-effectiveness
• Work closely with the culinary team to pair food and beverage offerings and create a well-rounded dining experience for our guests
• Train and develop the beverage staff on proper service techniques, product knowledge, and up-selling strategies
• Monitor and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, respond to guest feedback, and make necessary adjustments to the beverage program
• Manage budget and financial performance, including analyzing sales data, controlling costs, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the service and sale of alcohol
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotions and events to increase beverage sales and drive customer traffic
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and quality products
• Continuously seek out new and innovative products to add to the beverage program and enhance the overall guest experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume food and beverage establishment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer, with a strong understanding of current industry trends
• Proven track record of developing successful beverage programs and increasing sales
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and analysis
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations regarding the service and sale of alcohol
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
