Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our curriculum, ensuring that our students receive a well-rounded and comprehensive education. You will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to continuously improve and enhance our curriculum to meet the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an effective curriculum that aligns with our school's mission and objectives.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in curriculum development and education.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to identify and address curriculum gaps and areas for improvement.
• Design and develop instructional materials, including lesson plans, activities, and assessments.
• Incorporate technology and other innovative teaching methods into the curriculum to enhance student learning.
• Work closely with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and relevance of curriculum content.
• Conduct training and professional development sessions for teachers on new curriculum materials and techniques.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and make necessary adjustments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state and national education standards.
• Stay informed about changes and updates in education policies and standards and make necessary changes to the curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of curriculum development and revisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in curriculum development in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum design and development principles and practices.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using technology and educational software.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of state and national education standards and regulations.
