Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Film Editor to join our team. As a Film Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the final product of our films, television shows, and other visual media projects. You will work closely with our directors, producers, and other members of the post-production team to create compelling and engaging content that meets our clients' needs and exceeds their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the director and other team members to understand the vision and tone of the project
• Sort through raw footage and select the best takes, scenes, and shots for the final cut
• Edit footage in a way that tells a cohesive and compelling story
• Trim and rearrange scenes to improve pacing and flow of the film
• Incorporate visual effects, sound effects, and music into the final product
• Ensure that the film meets technical specifications and is suitable for distribution
• Receive and incorporate feedback from the director and producers to make necessary revisions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in editing techniques and software
• Manage and maintain all project files and assets in an organized manner
• Collaborate with other post-production team members to ensure a seamless and high-quality final product
• Meet project deadlines and communicate any potential delays or issues to the team in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Television, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Film Editor, preferably in a professional setting
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and film structure
• Knowledge of visual effects, sound design, and color correction
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain organization in a fast-paced environment
• A strong portfolio showcasing your previous work as a Film Editor
