Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripherals
Set up and maintain computer networks, including routers, switches, and firewalls
Perform regular maintenance and updates on computer systems to ensure optimal performance and security
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
Provide technical support to employees in person, over the phone, or via remote access
Set up and configure new user accounts and email accounts
Maintain inventory of computer equipment and peripherals, ensuring adequate supply levels
Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement new technology solutions and upgrades
Conduct regular backups of critical data and ensure disaster recovery procedures are in place
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry
Train employees on basic computer skills and best practices for using company technology

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PC Technician or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems
Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus
