Position: Utilities Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Utilities Specialist to join our team. As a Utilities Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of utility services for our company. This includes overseeing utility contracts, monitoring usage and costs, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all utility contracts, including negotiating terms and prices with service providers
• Monitor utility usage and costs, identifying areas for cost-saving measures
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of utility bills
• Maintain accurate records of utility usage and expenses
• Stay updated on industry regulations and standards, implementing necessary changes to ensure compliance
• Develop and implement strategies for reducing utility costs and promoting energy efficiency
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address any issues related to utility services
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of utility bills and identify any discrepancies
• Communicate with utility service providers to resolve any issues or concerns
• Provide regular reports and updates to management regarding utility expenses and usage

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in utility management or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of utility regulations and standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records
• Strong negotiation skills
• Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability practices is a plus
