Position: AWS Senior Developer
Location: Rochester, New York, United States
ConsultPro Insights is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Senior Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our AWS infrastructure, as well as designing, building, and deploying scalable and secure applications on the AWS platform. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement AWS solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to best practices and standards
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement them in a timely manner
- Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and others to build scalable and reliable applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure and applications
- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance and security of AWS applications and infrastructure
- Collaborate with DevOps team to automate deployment processes and improve system reliability
- Keep up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and tools and recommend their implementation to improve system efficiency
- Mentor and guide junior developers in the team to enhance their technical skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS
- Strong understanding of AWS architecture and services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and others
- Proven experience in developing and deploying applications on the AWS platform
- Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, such as CI/CD, Terraform, and Ansible
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) are highly preferred
