Job Title: Science Education Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Science Education Specialist to join our team. As a Science Education Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our science education programs and initiatives. You will collaborate with educators, curriculum developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our science education programs are engaging, relevant, and aligned with national standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education, excellent communication skills, and a passion for inspiring the next generation of scientists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement science education curriculum, activities, and materials for students of all ages.
• Collaborate with educators and curriculum developers to ensure alignment with national and state standards.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in science education.
• Train and support educators in effectively implementing our science education programs.
• Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of our science education programs through data analysis and feedback from educators and students.
• Develop and maintain relationships with schools, educators, and other stakeholders to promote our science education programs.
• Participate in conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities to stay current in the field of science education.
• Work closely with our marketing team to promote our science education programs and initiatives through various channels.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in science education or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in science education, curriculum development, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of national and state science education standards.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Passion for science education and inspiring the next generation of scientists.
• Willingness to travel to schools, conferences, and other events as needed.
