Job Title: Donor Relations Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Donor Relations Specialist to join our team. As a Donor Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our organization's fundraising efforts by cultivating and maintaining relationships with donors. You will work closely with our development team to plan and execute strategies to engage donors and increase donations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement donor relations strategies to cultivate and maintain relationships with donors.
• Identify and research potential donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
• Collaborate with the development team to create effective fundraising campaigns and events.
• Develop and maintain a donor database to track donations, interactions, and other relevant information.
• Plan and execute donor recognition and stewardship activities, such as thank you letters, events, and personalized communication.
• Create and distribute fundraising materials, including appeals, newsletters, and annual reports.
• Coordinate and attend meetings with donors to discuss our organization's impact and initiatives.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in donor relations and fundraising.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, or a similar role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in using donor management software and other relevant tools.
• Knowledge of fundraising strategies and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
