About the Role: TranslatePro is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Localization Specialist to join our team. As a Localization Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products and services are accurately translated and adapted for different markets around the world. You will work closely with our international teams to ensure that our content is culturally relevant and localized to meet the specific needs of different regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement localization strategies for our products and services.
• Manage the localization process for all content, including websites, marketing materials, product descriptions, and user interfaces.
• Work closely with translators and agencies to ensure high-quality and accurate translations.
• Conduct linguistic reviews to ensure consistency and accuracy of translations.
• Develop and maintain a glossary of key terminology for each language.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in localization to continuously improve our processes and deliverables.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure all localized content is error-free and meets the company's standards.
• Monitor and track localization metrics to report on progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure that all new features and updates are localized before release.
• Provide cultural guidance and insights to the team to ensure our products and services are culturally appropriate for each market.
• Assist with the testing and implementation of localization tools and technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in localization, translation, or a related field.
• Fluency in at least two languages, including English.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with localization tools and software.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivities.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and translation software.
• Experience with content management systems and website localization.
• Passion for languages and different cultures.
