Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maritime Education Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality training programs for maritime professionals. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and help shape their knowledge and skills in the maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop course curriculum and training materials for various maritime subjects, including navigation, ship handling, safety, and regulations.
• Conduct classroom lectures, practical demonstrations, and simulation exercises to deliver engaging and effective training sessions.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and tools to accommodate different learning styles and ensure maximum knowledge retention.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with other instructors and subject matter experts to continuously update and improve training programs.
• Stay updated with current industry trends and regulations to ensure training programs are up-to-date and relevant.
• Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment for students and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Assist with the planning and execution of field trips and practical training exercises.
• Participate in the recruitment and selection of students for training programs.
• Act as a mentor and advisor to students, providing guidance and support throughout their training.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Nautical Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maritime Education Instructor or in a similar role.
• Holding a valid teaching certification or license is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of maritime industry regulations and standards.
• Familiarity with various teaching methods and tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
