Position: Computer Hardware Specialist

Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Computer Hardware Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer hardware and possess the technical skills necessary to troubleshoot and resolve any hardware-related issues. As a Computer Hardware Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's computer systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware systems, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform hardware upgrades and replacements as needed
• Test and evaluate new hardware and make recommendations for improvements or enhancements
• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure compatibility and proper functionality of hardware with software and systems
• Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users in person, over the phone, or via remote access
• Create and maintain documentation for hardware setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer hardware technology and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on computer hardware
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware components, including processors, motherboards, memory, storage devices, and peripherals
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair
• Proficient in installing and configuring operating systems, software, and drivers
• Familiarity with network setup and configuration
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
