Job Title: Chemical Process Operator

About the Role: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Process Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring various chemical processes to ensure the production of high-quality products. As a Chemical Process Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor various chemical processes, including mixing, blending, and distillation, to produce high-quality products within specified parameters
• Monitor and adjust process controls to maintain optimal production levels and ensure product quality
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications and take corrective actions when necessary
• Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment or process issues to minimize downtime and maintain uninterrupted production
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch records, process logs, and quality control data
• Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff, to identify and implement process improvements
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal functioning and prevent contamination of products
• Participate in training programs and stay updated on industry developments and best practices to continuously improve your skills and knowledge

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a chemical production environment, with previous experience as a Chemical Process Operator being highly desirable
• Strong understanding of chemical processes, equipment, and safety protocols
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve process and equipment issues
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
