Position: Backend Software Engineer
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and applications that support our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement backend systems and applications using cutting-edge technologies.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain APIs and microservices to support our products and services.
- Optimize backend processes for improved performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python or Node.js.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services, such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Proficient in using version control systems, such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
