Position: Instructional Design Specialist

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instructional Design Specialist to join our team. As an Instructional Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing effective learning materials and programs to support the training needs of our organization. You will work closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to create engaging and impactful learning experiences for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and design effective training solutions
• Develop instructional materials, including training manuals, job aids, e-learning modules, and other learning resources
• Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
• Incorporate various instructional methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience, such as simulations, videos, and gamification
• Conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
• Revise and update existing training materials to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in instructional design and learning technologies
• Provide guidance and support to trainers and other team members in utilizing training materials effectively
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of training programs with organizational goals and objectives
• Continuously seek feedback and make improvements to training materials to enhance the learning experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design or related role
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory
• Proficiency in e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software
• Experience with learning management systems and authoring tools
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proven experience in designing engaging and interactive learning experiences
• Ability to think creatively and problem-solve to meet the training needs of the organization
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
• Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in instructional design
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
