Job Title: IT Security Consultant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Security Consultant to join our team. As an IT Security Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our clients in implementing and maintaining effective security measures to protect their IT infrastructure. You will work closely with clients to understand their specific security needs and develop customized solutions to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct security assessments and audits for clients to identify vulnerabilities and risks in their IT systems
• Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability management to identify and remediate potential security issues
• Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
• Design and implement network security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls
• Provide ongoing security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a security-conscious culture
• Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends, and make recommendations for improving security posture
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of IT operations and projects
• Assist with incident response and disaster recovery planning and testing
• Collaborate with external security vendors and partners to enhance security capabilities and services

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, preferably in a consulting role
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS
• Experience in conducting security assessments, audits, and penetration testing
• Extensive knowledge of network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, DLP, and endpoint protection
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and in a team, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable
