Position Title: Curriculum Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Curriculum Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Curriculum Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum for various educational programs. You will work closely with educators, subject-matter experts, and instructional designers to ensure that our curriculum is effective, engaging, and aligned with learning objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design curriculum for various educational programs, including but not limited to K-12, higher education, and professional development courses.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure that curriculum content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.
• Conduct thorough research to identify best practices and innovative approaches in curriculum development.
• Use instructional design principles to create learning experiences that meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Utilize technology to enhance the delivery of curriculum materials and activities.
• Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to measure the effectiveness of the curriculum and make necessary revisions.
• Ensure that curriculum materials are aligned with learning objectives and state/national standards.
• Provide training and support to educators in implementing the curriculum effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements and changes in education and incorporate them into the curriculum as needed.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote and market the curriculum to potential clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of instructional design principles and learning theories.
• Familiarity with state and national education standards.
• Strong research, writing, and editing skills.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and learning management systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
