Job Title: AWS Big Data Architect

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced AWS Big Data Architect to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Big Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing our company's big data solutions on the AWS platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify data sources, and create scalable data pipelines. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement complex big data solutions on the AWS platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Create scalable and efficient data pipelines to process, store, and analyze large datasets
• Perform data modeling, data mapping, and data integration activities
• Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and ensure data quality and consistency
• Implement data security and access controls to protect sensitive data
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing, storage, and analysis
• Stay updated with the latest AWS and big data technologies and evaluate their potential impact on our data architecture
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing big data solutions on the AWS platform
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services such as S3, EMR, Redshift, Athena, Glue, and Lambda
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Kafka
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Java for data processing and analysis
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization tools
• Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• AWS and big data certifications are a plus
