GlobalTrade & Transportation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Science Application Manager to join our dynamic team.As the Data Science Application Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of data science applications across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to identify business needs and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, testing, and deployment of data science applications, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design and implement data pipelines, algorithms, and models
• Manage the application development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, project planning, and resource allocation
• Monitor application performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency and accuracy
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data science and technology, and provide recommendations for improvement and innovation
• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, identify potential issues, and gather feedback
• Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, application development, or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
• Proven experience in developing and deploying data science applications and models
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques
• Experience with cloud computing and big data technologies
