Location: Paro, Bhutan

Employment Type: Contract to hire

About the role: We are currently seeking a skilled Injection Molding Technician to join our team. As an Injection Molding Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform machine setup, including calibration, mold changes, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal machine performance
• Monitor the injection molding process, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise
• Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications
• Maintain and repair injection molding equipment as needed
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and troubleshoot issues
• Keep accurate records of production, maintenance, and quality control activities

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in injection molding is a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with injection molding machines
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of plastic materials and their properties
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
