Job Title: CNC Machinist
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and a passion for producing high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Calculate and determine the proper cutting tools and speeds for each job.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot any issues with machines and make necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve processes and optimize production.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC machining.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming, tooling, and setup.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
Working Conditions:
- This is a Full-time position with regular business hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- May be exposed to loud noises and various weather conditions.
- Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
