Job Title: Aircraft Dispatcher

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Aircraft Dispatcher. As an Aircraft Dispatcher, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aviation fleet. You will work closely with pilots, air traffic controllers, and other aviation personnel to plan and oversee flight operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Create and file flight plans for all scheduled flights, taking into consideration factors such as weather conditions, fuel requirements, and aircraft performance
• Monitor weather patterns and provide pilots with real-time updates and alternative routes if necessary
• Communicate with air traffic controllers to obtain necessary clearances and make any necessary changes to flight plans
• Maintain communication with pilots throughout the duration of flights to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Monitor aircraft performance and make adjustments to flight plans as needed to ensure on-time arrival and efficient fuel consumption
• Keep detailed records of all flight plans, changes, and communications for future reference
• Work with maintenance personnel to ensure that all aircraft are in proper working condition and meet all regulatory requirements
• Stay up-to-date on all relevant aviation regulations and procedures to ensure compliance and safety
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating flight crew assignments and ensure proper rest periods are adhered to
• Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and ground operations, to ensure smooth and efficient flight operations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation operations or a related field
• FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certification preferred
• Strong understanding of flight regulations and procedures, including FAA regulations and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards
• Proficient in computer systems and flight planning software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and make quick and accurate decisions under pressure
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
