Position: Long Haul Truck Driver

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, playing a vital role in our company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive long haul trucks to transport goods and materials to various destinations
• Plan routes and schedules, taking into consideration traffic, weather, and road conditions
• Ensure all cargo is properly loaded, secured, and unloaded according to company and industry regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and fluid levels
• Maintain accurate records of miles traveled, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, including weight limits, speed limits, and hours of service rules
• Handle any unexpected situations or delays in a professional and timely manner
• Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a long haul truck driver
• Strong knowledge of trucking regulations, laws, and safety procedures
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Willingness to work long hours and travel long distances
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as needed
