Job Title: Public Policy Analyst

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Public Policy Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Public Policy Analyst, you will be responsible for researching and analyzing government policies and regulations that impact our organization and its stakeholders. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, excellent research abilities, and a keen understanding of the political landscape. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct extensive research on local, state, and federal policies and regulations that affect our organization
• Analyze and interpret policy data to identify potential implications and opportunities for our organization
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and recommendations for policy-related issues
• Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings to communicate findings and recommendations to various stakeholders
• Participate in meetings and events with government officials and other external partners to represent our organization's interests
• Maintain a strong understanding of current events, political trends, and policy initiatives that may impact our organization
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry associations, and community leaders
• Stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in public policy analysis and make recommendations for process improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, economics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in public policy analysis, government relations, or a related role
• Strong understanding of government processes and policies at the local, state, and federal levels
• Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong project management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experience with data analysis tools is preferred
• Passion for public policy and a strong desire to make a positive impact on society
