Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand packaging requirements and develop effective packaging solutions.
Design and develop packaging concepts that meet product specifications, customer needs, and cost targets.
Conduct packaging testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Create packaging prototypes and perform packaging trials to evaluate performance and make necessary improvements.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining packaging quality.
Work closely with suppliers to source packaging materials and negotiate pricing.
Develop and maintain packaging specifications, standards, and documentation.
Participate in packaging design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and new packaging technologies.
Troubleshoot packaging issues and provide timely solutions.
Continuously evaluate and improve packaging processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Support new product launches and provide packaging expertise to ensure successful implementation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in packaging design and development.
Strong technical knowledge of packaging materials, design principles, and testing methods.
Proficiency in CAD software for packaging design.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for packaging.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
