Job Title: Recreational Services Supervisor

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Recreational Services Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the operations and staff of our recreational services department. The Recreational Services Supervisor will be responsible for developing and implementing recreational programs and activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing quality recreational services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the recreational services department, including staff, programs, and facilities
• Develop and implement a variety of recreational programs and activities for all age groups and skill levels
• Collaborate with other departments and community organizations to enhance recreational services and events
• Create and manage program budgets and ensure all expenditures are within budgetary guidelines
• Train, supervise, and evaluate a team of recreational services staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks
• Ensure all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and in safe, working condition
• Communicate and enforce safety regulations and procedures with staff and participants
• Address and resolve any customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate records and reports on program attendance, revenue, and expenses
• Keep updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve recreational services
• Assist with special events and other departmental initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Sports Management, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a recreational services setting
• Knowledge of recreational programs and activities for all age groups and skill levels
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and train staff effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a diverse group of individuals
• Budget management experience and strong organizational skills
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
