Position: Database Analysis Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Analysis Engineer to join our growing team. As a Database Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's databases. You will work closely with our data scientists, software engineers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain databases for our company's systems
- Analyze and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to understand data requirements and design appropriate database structures
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
- Develop and implement data validation and quality control processes
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns, and provide insights to support business decisions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for databases and data processes
- Stay updated on the latest database technologies and tools to continuously improve our database systems
- Train and mentor junior team members on database management and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in database design, development, and administration
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB
- Experience with data modeling tools and techniques
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
