Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement logistics strategies and plans that align with the overall company objectives and goals
Manage and monitor the entire logistics process, including inventory management, transportation, and distribution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan for future logistics needs
Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
Oversee the procurement of materials and supplies, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are delivered on time
Monitor and analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records and documentation
Manage and train a team of logistics staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of logistics operations
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to promote professional growth and development
Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and processes to optimize the logistics process and improve overall performance
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and shipping partners

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in a managerial role
Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices
Proven track record of successfully managing logistics operations and implementing process improvements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
Proficient in logistics software and systems, such as ERP, WMS, and TMS
Knowledge of international shipping and customs regulations is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
